Open Quote This school's application process for POC needs to be reported so everyone who applies knows what they are getting into. They claim to want diversity but they clearly have a hierarchy of what they expect to be diverse "enough". When you apply as a person of color, they invite you to a "Multicultural Meet and Greet". Every other event they have is on their beautiful campus with top notch catering, but for this particular event, where ONLY people of color are invited, they congregate everyone in a VERY beat up old house so the applicants can see how diverse they are TRYING to be. QUESTION: Is this run down venue supposed to make the people of color feel more comfortable? Would they also invite all the rich non-ethnic applicants to the same house? It's a good question isn't it? There are multiple hispanic families who have had to apply more than once (even ones with siblings already in the school are rejected!). Once again, hispanic individuals marginalized under the pretense of these fake inclusion practices. We really need private schools who are truly inclusive of POC- our children deserve these opportunities too! Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
