Summary

In Trona, California, Trona Elementary is a K–6 school serving 147 students. In 2025–2026, all-grades proficiency was 17% in English language arts (ELA), 21% in math and 7% in science. Results were below California’s in all three subjects, but above Trona Joint Unified by 5, 4 and 5 percentage points, respectively. The most important finding is that Trona had the lowest all-grades result in every subject among the three nearby schools.
