Heritage is a K–8 school in Phelan, serving 563 students in Snowline Joint Unified. In 2025–2026, its proficiency rates were 61% in English Language Arts (ELA), 59% in math and 58% in science—above both state and district results in every subject. Its clearest distinction among nearby schools is in math and science, where it had the highest results of the schools with reported scores.

Math and science are Heritage’s strongest areas compared with nearby schools: its math result was 39 percentage points above their average, and science was 37 points above. ELA was also strong, 33 points above the nearby-school average, but Wrightwood Elementary edged it, with 61.1% proficient compared with Heritage’s 60.9%.
