El Sol Santa Ana Science and Arts Academy is a K–8 school in Santa Ana, enrolling 894 students. In 2025–2026, it performed slightly above California in English language arts (ELA), math and science, and its results were substantially higher than those of nearby schools in Santa Ana Unified. The clearest takeaway is that El Sol led the seven nearby schools with comparable results in all three subjects.

They are highly unorganized and at times very rude to parents. They do not have a principal and the "Director" is never around to deal with crucial issues such as bullying and special needs. She'll come around once the school is threatened with a lawsuit. Even though they call themselves a "Public School" they do not follow school district practices. Close Quote

Excellent school with great scores. It is a K-8 school, not a K-6. All students learn to read, write and speak in two languages and the school has been recognized by both the state and the country for innovative programs and success with low income kids. Close Quote
