Its 2025–2026 results show a bright spot in English language arts (ELA), but weaker performance in math and science compared with the state. Its most urgent concern for families is attendance: chronic absenteeism remains the highest among the nearby schools.

ELA is Kendall’s strongest subject: 42% of students were proficient, compared with 39% in the San Bernardino City Unified district and 49% statewide.
