North Salinas High is a public high school serving grades 9–12 and 2,106 students in Salinas, in the Salinas Union High School District. Its 2025–26 results are mixed: 50% were proficient in English language arts (ELA), 29% in science, and 14% in math. Graduation and attendance measures are encouraging—94% graduated and 11% had chronic absenteeism, compared with 88% and 18% statewide. The clearest concern for families is math, where proficiency is substantially below state and district rates.
