KIPP Comienza Community Prep is a K–8 school in Huntington Park, serving 825 students in Los Angeles Unified. In 2025–2026, its all-grade proficiency rates were above district and state results in English language arts (ELA), math and science. Its clearest distinction is science: it had the highest science result among the seven nearby tested schools in the district, with a particularly large lead over those peers.
