Summary

Sunset Elementary serves 759 students in kindergarten through grade 5 in Livermore, within the Livermore Valley Joint Unified area. Its 2025–26 results were strong across English language arts (ELA), math and science, and it compares especially well with nearby schools of the same grade span. Its clearest local distinction is ELA: Sunset ranked first among nearby K–5 schools, with 81% proficient, compared with 78% at the next-highest school.
