Mt. Eden High is a grades 9–12 school in Hayward, California, serving 1,865 students in Hayward Unified. Its reported 2025–26 graduation rate was 93%, above the state’s 88% and the district’s 87%; chronic absenteeism was 23%, better than the district’s 24% but 5 percentage points above the state. The clearest takeaway from its test results is a sharp subject split: ELA proficiency is above the state average, while math and science are substantially below it.
