Sutherland Elementary is a K–5 school in Glendora, serving 488 students in Glendora Unified. Its 2025–26 proficiency rates were above California’s in ELA, math, and science, but the clearest concern is grade 5: Sutherland had the lowest grade 5 ELA and math results among nearby schools.

Math is Sutherland’s strongest subject compared with the state and district, while science is its weakest. In 2025–26, Sutherland was about 19 percentage points above the state in math, compared with 11 points in ELA and 2 points in science; it was 5 points above its district in math, but 1 point below in ELA and science.
