Summary

In Elk Grove, California, Elk Grove Charter Academy serves grades 7–12 and enrolls 262 students in Elk Grove Unified. Its clearest academic concern is mathematics: in 2025–2026, proficiency was 14% in math, compared with 42% in English language arts (ELA) and 18% in science; all three results were below the state and district, and math trailed them by 25 and 30 percentage points.

ELA is the school’s strongest tested subject relative to benchmarks, but results vary sharply by grade: seventh-grade ELA proficiency was 54%, 4 points above the state, while eighth-grade math was 7%, 29 points below the state.
