Fremont Elementary is a K–5 school serving 440 students in Delano, in the Delano Union Elementary district. Its clearest challenge is academic proficiency: in 2025–26, 30% of students were proficient in English language arts (ELA), compared with 49% statewide and 49% in the district. The school was also below the state, district, and most nearby K–5 schools in math and science. The most important finding is that ELA is its weakest area: its result was the lowest among nearby K–5 schools and 11 points below their average.
