Summary

Torrey Hills is a K–6 elementary school in San Diego’s Del Mar Union district, serving 389 students in an area with several nearby schools in the same district. Its 2025–2026 proficiency rates were well above California’s in English language arts (ELA), math and science, yet below the district’s in all three. The most important takeaway is that science is the clearest local weakness: Torrey Hills ranked seventh of eight same-district K–6 schools in science.
