Summary

Enterprise Alternative is a 50-student K–12 alternative school in Clovis, within Clovis Unified. Its 2025–26 test scores were near California averages, but its graduation and dropout outcomes are more concerning: 73% of students graduated, compared with 88% statewide and 95% in the district, while 27% dropped out, compared with 8% statewide and 2% in the district. The most important concern is that students’ completion outcomes lag substantially behind both the state and district.

Academically, math is the school’s strongest subject against the state: 39% of students were proficient, about 1 percentage point above California; 46% were proficient in English language arts (ELA), 3 points below the state, and 33% in science, also 3 points below. The gap with the district is much larger: Enterprise was 16 points behind in math, 23 in ELA, and 19 in science.
