Aliso Elementary is a 315-student K–5 school in Carpinteria, California, in the Carpinteria Unified area. In 2025–26, 43% of students were proficient in English language arts (ELA) and 37% in math, compared with 49% and 38% statewide. The most important concern is that Aliso trailed all three nearby K–5 schools in both subjects: those schools averaged 61% in ELA and 56% in math, leaving Aliso 18 and 19 percentage points behind, respectively.

Results vary by subject and grade. Math was close to the district and state overall: 37% at Aliso, versus 37% in the district and 38% statewide.
