Joaquin Miller Elementary is a large, well-regarded public school serving about 730 students in grades K-5 within the Burbank Unified School District, consistently performing above state averages.

Academically, the school is strong, particularly in mathematics, where it performs comparably to schools with much lower rates of economic need. It stands out for its exceptional support for specific student groups, with state rankings in the 94th percentile for Special Education students and consistently high marks for English Language Learners. Open Quote I moved to Burbank because of tales about burbank schools. So now my son is attending Joaquin Miller Elementary school. He is In Kindergarten. from the beginning I was very exited about school and about my son's teacher. But when I noticed she is getting more attention those kids whose mothers are volunteering, or giving gifts It really made me crazy. So next year I am transferring my son to the private school.Hope my comment will help some parents before choosing the right school.
