Westlake Charter is a K–12 alternative school serving 1,493 students in Sacramento’s Natomas area, within Natomas Unified. Its clearest academic strength is science, while its math results are only just above the state level: in 2025–2026, 51% of students were proficient in science, compared with 36% statewide, while 39% were proficient in math, compared with 38% statewide.

Westlake performed above both its district and the state in all three subjects in 2025–2026, but the size of that advantage varied: ELA proficiency was 58% (9 percentage points above the state and 15 above the district), science was 51% (15 and 17 points above), and math was 39% (1 and 8 points above).
