Summary

Tuscany Hills Elementary is a K-5 public school serving about 606 students in the Lake Elsinore Unified School District, standing out as a consistently high-performing school within its area.

Academically, Tuscany Hills excels, with student proficiency in math and English far exceeding both district and state averages. This is particularly impressive when compared to other schools in the same district, such as Lakeland Village or Elsinore Elementary, which perform significantly lower. The school also maintains a lower rate of chronic student absenteeism than the district average, suggesting a strong culture of engagement. It achieves these strong results while serving a student population with a moderate level of economic need and with per-student spending that is efficient compared to other schools.

The school shows notable strength in supporting all student groups effectively, with balanced performance across different demographics. Its success is consistent over time, showing resilience and recovery in recent years. While the Lake Elsinore Unified district overall has a lower ranking, Tuscany Hills and Cottonwood Canyon Elementary demonstrate that schools within it can achieve excellent outcomes, performing more similarly to high-achieving schools in neighboring districts like Menifee Union.

Open Quote My daughter had the worst experience at this school. She was bullied on a regular basis. I have never in my entire life have seen so many kids with so many behavioral issues! I came to the school with my concerns and they turned it around on her! Telling her if she was just more outspoken that she we wouldn't all be here discussing this. If THEY did their job supervising the children, we all wouldn't be there! Instead of managing the problem he turned it around on the child. Teacher she had, screamed in the class at the children. Apparently she held tenure so we were stuck with her. We tried to have our daughter changed to another classroom, again just the same run around. Never before or after our being at that school have we EVER had another issue. Close Quote
