California School for the Deaf-Fremont is a K–12 alternative school in Fremont, serving 279 students in the California School for the Deaf-Fremont (State Special Schl) district. The most important finding is that its 2025–2026 proficiency rates were far below California’s in every tested subject: 5% in English language arts (ELA), 2% in math and 2% in science, compared with 49%, 38% and 36% statewide.
