Summary:
The six schools in Stanislaus Union Elementary include five schools serving kindergarten through grade 6 and one junior high serving grades 7–8. Their 2025–2026 results vary substantially: the highest-to-lowest spread was 38 percentage points in ELA and about 42 points in both math and science. The most important finding is that the district’s results are uneven, so school-level differences matter more than a single area-wide picture.
Stanislaus Elementary was the all-subject leader, with 56% proficient in ELA, 55% in math, and 52% in science—above state rates of 49%, 38%, and 36%. It led the next-highest school by 6 points in ELA, 7 in math, and 17 in science. Agnes M. Baptist Elementary also stood out: it was above the state in ELA and math, and its grade 3 results led the elementary schools in both subjects. At the other end, Josephine Chrysler Elementary ranked last in all three subjects, at 18% in ELA, 12% in math, and 10% in science. Mary Lou Dieterich Elementary was above the state in math, while George Eisenhut Elementary was below it in all three subjects. Prescott was also below state rates; its grade 7 and 8 results lagged their respective state results in both ELA and math.
Recent changes were mixed: the six-school mean was nearly unchanged in ELA and math from 2024–2025 to 2025–2026, while science rose 2 points. Stanislaus improved by 4 points in ELA, 5 in math, and 8 in science; Chrysler declined by 1, 2, and 4 points, respectively.
