Pollock Pines Elementary has two schools serving kindergarten through eighth grade: Pinewood Elementary (K–4) and Sierra Ridge Middle (grades 5–8). In 2025–2026, both schools were below California’s all-grades ELA result of 49%: each was about 38%, or 11 points below state at Pinewood and 12 points below at Sierra Ridge. Math results varied more: Pinewood was 3 points below the state, while Sierra Ridge was 12 points below. The clearest shared challenge across the two schools is ELA.
