Summary:
The Placer Hills Union Elementary area has two schools serving 755 students: Sierra Hills Elementary serves kindergarten through grade 3, and Weimar Hills serves grades 4–8. In 2025–2026, both schools’ all-grades English and math results were above state averages, but the schools serve different grades, so their scores are not a same-grade comparison. The most important overall finding is that Sierra led the published all-grades results in both English and math.
Sierra Hills scored 55% in English and 56% in math, compared with 52% and 46% at Weimar Hills—leads of 3 and 10 percentage points. Sierra’s scores were 6 points above the state in English and 18 points above in math; Weimar was 3 points above in English and 8 above in math. Weimar’s grade-level results show both notable strengths and weaker spots: grade 8 math was 58%, 22 points above the state, and grade 5 science was 54%, 19 points above. By contrast, grade 6 English was 38%, 10 points below the state, and grade 7 math was 37%, 1 point below. Science was not reported for Sierra, so the data do not identify a cross-school science leader.
Scores changed in different directions over the two years reported. At Sierra, English fell 5 points and math fell 8; at Weimar, English rose 1 point, math was nearly unchanged, and science increased 5 points.
