The Las Lomitas Elementary district has two schools serving kindergarten through grade 8: Las Lomitas Elementary serves K–3, and La Entrada Middle serves grades 4–8; together they enroll 1,134 students. Both schools’ reported 2025–26 results are well above state rates. The clearest area-wide strength is math: the average of the two schools’ advantages over the state is 44 percentage points in math, compared with 31 points in ELA.
La Entrada Middle has the broadest set of high results, with reported scores across grades 4–8 and ELA, math, and science; its all-grades rates are 84% in ELA and 69% in science. Las Lomitas Elementary has the higher reported math rate, 84% compared with La Entrada’s 82%, and its advantage over the state is 46 points versus 43 points at La Entrada. La Entrada’s clearest grade-level dip is grade 8 math at 69%, 13 points below grade 7, though still 33 points above the state rate. Because the schools serve different grades and have no shared tested grade in the data, their all-grades rates are not a like-grade comparison.
Most scores eased between the two reported years, while both schools remained well above the state.
