Gustine, California, has four schools spanning kindergarten through grade 12: Gustine Elementary (K–5), Gustine Middle (6–8), Gustine High (9–12), and Pioneer High (Continuation) (9–12). The clearest shared academic challenge is math: the three schools with reported scores ranged from 15% to 17% proficient, compared with 38% statewide; their average was 16%, 22 points below the state. Math proficiency is the most consistent concern across the area’s scored schools.
