Summary

Lehi Elementary School serves 398 students in PK–6 in Mesa’s Mesa Unified District; its reported student–teacher ratio is 15.9, and its available free/reduced-lunch rate was 77% in 2022–23. The main concern is low current proficiency: in 2025–26, 25% of students were proficient in English Language Arts (ELA) and 18% in math. Both results were below district and state rates, making Lehi’s low performance across both subjects the most important finding for families.

Lehi trails nearby schools as well as public benchmarks. Its ELA and math results were 14 and 13 percentage points below district rates, and 16 and 15 points below state rates, respectively. Across seven nearby schools in the same district with all-grades results, the averages were 41% in ELA and 35% in math; Lehi was 16 and 17 points lower. Among six nearby PK–6 schools, Lehi had the lowest result in both subjects. The grade-level picture is mixed: third-grade results were above some nearby schools, but fifth-grade math was a clear weakness at 20%, compared with 39% districtwide and 38% statewide, and every reported nearby result of 32% or higher.

SchoolDigger’s overall standing remains low despite a small recent improvement: Lehi was at the 13th percentile with 1 star in 2025–26, compared with the 10th percentile in 2022–23 and a 24th-percentile high in earlier years. Its student–teacher ratio is slightly below the nearby same-district average of 16.4, but that has not coincided with stronger test results. SchoolDigger’s statewide ranking for how well the school serves English Language Learner students fell from the 44th percentile in 2020–21 to the 6th in 2022–23, while the overall ranking was at the 10th percentile in both years. Its ranking for serving Homeless students was notably higher, at the 63rd percentile in 2022–23 versus the overall 10th percentile.
