Northland Preparatory Academy, a public charter school, significantly outperforms Coconino High School across multiple metrics, including test scores, graduation rates, and statewide rankings. The decrease in per-student spending and the relatively high student-teacher ratio at Coconino High School may be contributing factors to the school's overall academic performance, which has been below state and district averages.

Open Quote This is a really good school. All of my teachers so far are amazing. In my old high school in Tucson, my math teacher told me that I wouldn't succeed but my Coconino math teacher is actually teaching me algebra. I'm finally getting straight A's for the first time in my school years. Close Quote
