Mountain View Preparatory School serves 426 students in grades K–8 in Cottonwood, Arizona. In 2025–26, its all-grade English Language Arts (ELA) and math proficiency rates were higher than the averages for the Cottonwood-Oak Creek Elementary District, but only just above or equal to Arizona’s rates. Results also differ sharply by grade, making the school’s overall averages an incomplete picture. The most important takeaway is that Mountain View is a bright spot in its district, but its overall scores are close to state averages and don’t tell the whole story.
