Open Quote This school is amazing! One of the two things I love the most is the integrated diversity of the school. While the kids come from all over, the socio-economic status of each student does not seem to be a barrier for friendship. The other thing I like is that while they challenge kids academically at a level that even some educators say is too much, the kids eat it up. For all that the courses are so challenging, "a"s abound. Coming back every year seems like a pep rally. There is a feeling of excitement in the air. Close Quote

Open Quote I'm a student in 10th grade at this school, and honestly, from a student's perspective, it's hell on earth for me. 5th grade may seem appealing with lots of fun teachers, but as you get into higher and higher grades, teachers degrade (the administration does nothing but curve grades up when they're bad for a teacher instead of fixing the problem), less exciting activities (I have been on 1, and only 1 field trip off campus for my 3 years at basis), and more AP classes to stress your child beyond belief. I barely eat anything for breakfast because I am so stressed about the day ahead, and I'm not the only one, my peers have reported similar things. Many of my friends stay up past midnight working on homework and end up falling asleep in classes the next day due to exhaustion. 80% of the upper school teachers don't even try to make class fun and exciting. They want kids to have good grades, and that's all they care about. Some of my teachers don't even make us study guides for tests, yet they still blame us for failing the test, they don't even consider that they could possibly doing something wrong. Does the administration care? Not at all. Don't send your child to this school. Close Quote
