Summary:
The American Charter Schools Foundation d.b.a. South P list contains one high school, South Pointe High School, serving grades 9–12 and 615 students. Its 2025–26 proficiency rates are below Arizona’s in both subjects: across all grades, 11% were proficient in ELA versus 41% statewide, and 11% in math versus 33%; grade 11 rates were 11% in each subject, compared with 38% statewide in ELA and 31% in math. The most serious concern is completion: in 2024–25, graduation was 40% versus 80% statewide, while dropout was 19% versus 5%.
South Pointe High School is both the highest- and lowest-performing school in this list by default, since it is the only school included; there is no local school-to-school comparison. Its graduation rate was 40 percentage points below the state rate, and its dropout rate was 14 points higher. Academic gaps were also substantial: all-grades ELA proficiency was 30 points below the state, and math was 22 points below. In grade 11, ELA was 27 points below and math 20 points below. Math is relatively closer to the state than ELA, but the school’s reported proficiency rate was 11% in both subjects.
SchoolDigger’s rank history shows a recent rise in relative position, though the latest historical ranking remains low: the school moved from 270th of 271 schools (0th percentile) in 2024–25 to 236th of 256 (8th percentile) in 2025–26, a gain of 34 places and 8 percentile points. Separately, SchoolDigger’s current ranking fields report 261st of 267 and a 0-star rating (2nd percentile), so that figure differs from the 2025–26 history entry. The student–teacher ratio is 21.9, and the free/reduced-lunch field is blank. Proficiency results are available for one year only, so the ranking change does not establish a change in test performance; the list also cannot show how the school compares with peers.
