Bergman School District

The Bergman School District in Arkansas is home to three highly-ranked schools that serve students from elementary through high school. Bergman Middle School and Bergman High School stand out as the district's top performers, consistently ranking among the best in the state.

Bergman Middle School is a standout, ranking 24th out of 330 Arkansas middle schools and earning a 5-star rating from SchoolDigger. The school has consistently ranked in the top 21 middle schools in the state over the past three years and outperforms the state average in ACT Aspire test scores across all grade levels and subject areas. Bergman High School is also a top performer, ranking 12th out of 295 Arkansas high schools and earning a 5-star rating. The high school has ranked in the top 17 high schools in the state over the past two years and significantly outperforms the state average in ACT Aspire test scores, particularly in English and Reading.

While the district's schools are predominantly white, with relatively low representation of minority groups, the high free and reduced lunch rates, especially at the elementary and middle school levels, suggest a need for additional support and resources for economically disadvantaged students. Overall, the Bergman School District appears to be a high-performing district, with standout schools that are consistently ranked among the best in the state, but there may be opportunities to address equity and inclusion within the district.
