Cornerstone Christian Academy

The only thing about Cornerstone that seemed to actually work like it was supposed to was the delivery and drop off of the children and this was handled mostly by parent volunteers.My experience with this school was pretty much the worst example of unchristian like treatment I have ever encountered.The administrator actually told me to bring my first grade child straight to the kindergarten class without talking to him about what was going on.When I explained to her and the teacher that he would be upset and know that this was not the class he had been in with his friends for two months,the response was that he might cry for a few days but that he would be fine.No way was I going to leave my child with people who had advised me to lie to him. It is also interesting that the very child they said needed to repeat kindergarten went on that very year to receive the highest grade point average in his new school...98.9!I am not sure what their problem really was because the administrator would not be bothered to call me back when I was trying to make my decision about keeping him enrolled at CCA.My advice is to always go with your mothers instinct.I got over all the loss of the money they took,but thank goodness they did not waste an entire year of my sons education.
