Open Quote Poorly coordinated events, Principal brushes off problems that are serious issues and downplays the "truth" as if trying to cover up things that are transpiring on and off school. My child does not look forward to going to school, however academically she does very well; sad though the school took the joy of learning in the atmosphere that is reminisant of a prison. Way too overcrowded as well. When I have spoken to past staff they mentioned they would prefer to pay for private school as opposed to sending their child to Wasilla Middle, NOT GOOD!!! Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
