Eagle River High School is a comprehensive public high school in Eagle River, Alaska, serving about 771 students in grades 9–12 as part of the Anchorage School District, and it currently ranks 8th among Alaska high schools with a 4-star rating. Its most impressive statistic is graduation: 96.7% for 2024–2025, compared with just 83.2% district-wide, and Eagle River has stayed far above the district average for the past five years. Students also beat both district and state averages in every core subject, with roughly half proficient in science and solid numbers in English language arts and math.

Compared with neighboring schools, Eagle River holds its own or comes out ahead. It tops Chugiak High School in math, science, and graduation rate, and its math proficiency of about 41% is dramatically higher than the rates posted by much larger schools like Service High School, West High School, and Bettye Davis East Anchorage High School.
