Upstream Learning Correspondence

Upstream Learning Correspondence is a small alternative/correspondence school in Glennallen, Alaska, serving 115 students across grades PK–12 through the Copper River School District, a district ranked in the top third of Alaska school systems. The graduation rate is another watchpoint, recently at 46.1% versus 67.6% for the district, though with such a small senior cohort, a single student's change in status can swing the rate dramatically. Overall, Upstream is a school with genuine academic strengths in literacy and science, but families should ask how math instruction and support are structured before enrolling.
