Open Quote The staff does not listen to the parent of the child. They seem to think that they are educators that they know what is best for the child. I have been telling them that my child was dyslexic since kindergarten and no one listen until third grade. Now she cant read her sol test it must be read to her. It seems to make her dumber and leads me to believe that they want children not to be able to read. My pediatric doctor and the specialist said she was dyslexic. The schools solution was to take her out of class and put with children with all kinds of problems from mentally challenged to problem children. It is call an all inclusive class. I had to have her taken out of that class. Teachers seem to talk at you instead of with you. They don't explain thing in so that the parent can do it at home. I am better off teaching her at home.
