Open Quote My son has an excellent teacher. He knows how to write and he knows all the letters and numbers at the end of his Pre-K school year. The teachers and nurse care very much about the kids and take very good care of them. The bus drivers are very good at getting the kids to school and home as well. Close Quote

Open Quote I wish I could give Gibbs a Zero! The principle told me that my 4 year old was responsible to know when he could and could not use the "Big voice" (yelling) they taught them to use when someone does something the child does not like. My 4 year old should no who he can and cannot yell at? Really?!?! Took me 2 years to correct the horrid behavior instilled in my child in just 10 months at Gibbs. Run like a cheetah is chasing you, pay for private pre k or keep your kids at home! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
