I low-key hated it here. A teacher absolutely destroyed my passion for writing and learning and I was targeted unfairly by them despite being a good student. Food was often served undercooked or raw at the start of the year until they hired someone. AP classes are limited to certain grades. There are no honor classes. No late work policy. No extra credit (most times). The other teachers and friends were the only reason I stayed here. Counselor was personally absolutely useless to me and is known for subtle ableism from what I've been told and even overheard. Only good thing about this school is academics, field trips, electives (theatre is pretty underfunded tbh, no costumes or even props most times), and their food. Bullying is rampant too but no one ever says anything because everyone is so exhausted. Only come here if you want a small school and good grades but most teachers don't even stay here so good luck with recommendation letters. Once the VP refused to let a sick girl who was in agony go home and even prevented her from calling their parents and that girl ended up diagnosed with some type of severe illness, and all she got was a lame 'sorry.' Also everyone uses AI for everything and it butchers grading Close Quote
