Open Quote Now that the school is going Montessori everything is looking good for Gilpin. They have Montessori teachers who are doing amazing things for the children. Mr. Vincent is a notable Montessori teacher. My only real problem with the school is the principal, Cathy Gonzales. She is not an effective principal, seems to be a bit two faced, and worst of all doesn't give off the impression that she supports Montessori (& if she really doesn't support Montessori she is short changing our children!) I feel sorry for the Montessori teacher's that have to deal with her bitterness and lack of support. I also hope for my children's sake and also for the Montessori teacher's sake, she will be replaced by a Montessori trained principal soon! Close Quote
