Open Quote Parents beware of this school. Fortune school has no structure what so ever. I pray someone pulls Fortune school funding no child should every be left behind. The principal Mr. Nyong is a joke he only hears one side of the story and plays favoritism with certain students and parents. Twice my son was placed in a class with students who have behavior problems causing my son to fall behind. This school does not offer any resources to help your child to succeed. The administration folks are all a joke they sit around and talk about parents in front of students, and visitors. I have been to the office several times and have heard them talking about other parents and have seen students files out exposing the parents demographics information.

The students have poor hygiene's and behavioral problems. This is a very sad school because all they care about is having a high enrollment of students just to keep getting funding, its not about educating our children or making sure they equipped with the right tools to be successful.

My suggestion to parents is to make sure you be an advocate for your children call your local senators office, file complaints with the Department Of education and the State, send a letter to our president Donald Trump.Whatever you do don't give up let your voice be heard. We pay tax dollars and deserve to be heard and to be treated equal.

I don't care what folks say about Trump God placed this man in the white house to be a voice for his people. Wake up folks and be more proactive. Lets make America great again! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
