Open Quote I was very hesitant to pursue a Christian school education for my boys due to the cost with a ministry salary. However, the experience at Christ's Greenfield Lutheran School helped iron out my concerns by offering opportunities galore to learn about how the tax credit system works. Plus, Stephanie Bean, in the front office, is the tax credit guru! She has been a priceless asset in helping me understand and tackle this tuition by taking advantage of tax credits. My boys are both thoroughly enjoying their experiences and learning. Their teachers really know them well and can address certain issues when needed due to the small class sizes. I find it refreshing that the research I've done that proves that an aggressive curriculum doesn't really benefit young children is warmly agreed upon here. They let children be children and allow them to grow into a more academically challenging environment as needed with age. I'm not looking for hours of homework for my elementary aged children. They'll have plenty of time for mounds of homework in high school and college. I would put 5 stars, but I don't have any other Christian school experience to compare it to as of now. Close Quote

Open Quote All three of my sons attended Christ's Greenfield from PreSchool through 8th grade and were very well prepared academically, socially, and spiritually for high school and college. My sons excelled in high school in academics and athletics and also have received academic Presidential scholarships to their first-choice universities in three different states. Reflecting back on their time at Christ's Greenfield, I can see that all three of my sons had their educational foundations set and personal character established in concert with the teachers and administration. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this school! Close Quote

Open Quote I have three children attending CGLS. They have all attended since pre-school. I also have three older children who attended public school and have graduated. There is no comparison. The quality of education and social activity is by far more personal and conducive to raising a well balanced child at CGLS. The small class sizes and new modern facilities say it all. The Christian environment that promotes family involvement is the frosting on the cake that I want for my children Close Quote

Open Quote My son is attending 4th grade this year, and has been going to this school since he was in preschool. This is a wonderful school. The teachers all care about every student, and go out of their way to help them all. I couldn't ask for a better place for my son to go to school. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
