Open Quote Worst performing school in the district. Some good teacher's who care but not enough to make a impact. Out of 1429 NC schools number #1 being best Graham is #1383 they've implemented another old failed tactic to improve the state's F on the state's report card Uniforms and year round school with no real effect besides making it easier to identify the kids from the poorly performing school. In the city of Shelby their are schools that have good test scores gym everyday and recess and high concentrations of economically disadvantaged student's but they do better for their students to prepare them academically for Middle and High school. In my opinion they should either close down the school and disperse the students to better performing schools or fully intergrate the district so that all students have a chance at a good solid education.
