Open Quote Hatherly has the most wonderful and caring staff. They are completely devoted to the students' learning. I cannot believe that this website is giving them 2 stars out of 5. Whatever they are using to rate these schools is a crock! I don't care if it's test scores, low test scores do not necessarily reflect the quality of the school (and Hatherly has many excellent test scores if you care to look at the details).
There are many English language learners at this school and many parents who don't speak English- something that definitely affects the scores as some students are forced to take state tests after only a short time in the U.S. All students have an amazing opportunity to learn at Hatherly and parents should not look at this 2/5 stars as a reflection of what Hatherly is really all about. Hatherly is the best!! (From a 2010-2011 teacher) Close Quote
