Open Quote I was shopping at a local grocery / retail store where the students and the teachers from the Monarch school had come for their usual field trip. I have been shopping at the same store for almost 5 years now and always see the kids and their teachers. I have NEVER seen a teacher who is so nice to the kids. She respected them, she didn't yell at them like the other teachers, she smiled, she looked like such a nice teacher to be around. I walked up to her as I was impressed by her and thanked her for being so nice to the kids. Her name is Donielle Brown. I asked her for her name and what school she works for. Sorry to say that your other teachers are not so nice to the kids. They need to learn how to treat the kids from Donielle.

I'll tell you what boils my blood:
1. They walk up to Starbucks and order frappachinos while the poor children just look at them. If you are going to be eating in front of the children, be prepared to share.
2. Don't raise your voice when talking to the children. They have feelings too you know. You get paid to take care of them, that is your job, do it right, to look after them, don't disrespect them. Lower your voice, establish eye contact and ask them gently, they will comply. I know because I have taught kindergarten for 12 years.
3. SMILE! It catches on! If you look like you are happy and that you are willingly looking after the kids not because you get paid to but because you like to and feel that you are doing a good deed, God will be happy with you. All your teachers look like it is such a chore and very boring.
4. DON'T COMPLAIN about the kids who are misbehaving to your fellow teachers in front of the kids! They can hear you, you know! They are not deaf. They are standing right there listening to you complaining about them to another teacher.

That's all I have to say. Close Quote
