Open Quote My kids love the school. It is new and clean. The teachers and staff are Always Cheerful and helpful. There is always work and student involvement hung in the hallways. It is not in great area and the scores don't look great but we are in a disadvantaged area. This is no reflection upon the school and staff. It takes more than teachers to teach students and no one can MAKE parents be involved. Some can't help due to language barriers and some just have to work too much. But the teachers at Forest Park seem to be doing a great job and my kids are Happy and excited about going to school everyday. As a former teacher at disadvantaged schools, I know that teaching depends on the TEACHER not the SCHOOL nor its ratings. Teachers are happy there and that is important. The principal listens to parents and tries to implement suggestions and improve our school. Hopefully, we can get more parents involved and help our school soar and roar!!!! Go TIGERS! Close Quote
