Open Quote This school, besides just a few teachers that really care for the student education instead seen the kids like data or numbers. Unfortunately, most teachers do not develop a relationship with the students and instead only focus on them as data and numbers... This school only care about funding. the don't care about the success of the children.. me personally I make a terrible mistake bringing my son to this school. the public system cares more for the kids that the FSU chapter they only care about the number. "technology school".. However Administration leaves a lot to be desired and also focuses less on students being developed wholistically and much more on the short term of the students producing good test score to reflect on the school. I agree with the reviews from other parents of children with learning differences (who are able to be mainstreamed) that this charter system fails children who don't fit neatly inside the box they've provided for "typically-devloping" children. General Ed classroom teachers (while 'most' are well-intentioned) are not equipped to help a child that has been identified as needing extra support. If your elementary-aged child has or needs a 504/IEP (without needing a self-contained classroom), my advice is to stick with public schools or use your McKay for a school who can offer your child appropriate support otherwise, you run the risk of your child (and yourself) being completely frustrated and miserable. We could not be more satisfied with our decision to leave and go back to a public school. Close Quote
