Open Quote Although my child did very well in PCIS, this school certainly has its challenges. If your a parent like me, who stays on their children academically, then your child will succeed no matter where he or she goes to school. But I give this school 3 stars, solely because they are doing their best. They just got a new Principle, then you have teachers leaving in the middle of the school year, and if that isnt bad enough, this is the only middle school in this area. With these kind of challenges, you have to cut the school some slack. For whatever reasons all these things are happening within this school, its no wonder the tests scores are at an all time low. One great thing is they are BIG on reading. In that area, their tests scores soared! Now if they can put as much emphasis on their math program as they did their reading - then Im sure the test scores would improve greatly. Close Quote
