This school has drastically changed in a short period of time and it is now unrecognizable. This year the majority of teachers left (like the whole Math and Spanish department) along with the 3rd interim head of school in just 12 months. The new staff is almost exclusively white, when before there was much more diversity. The constant revolving door of administrators has created an climate of instability, unpredictability, and major stress. The academics are ok, but don't particularly stand out compared to other private and public schools.
The culture of the school is toxic, full of favoritism and secrecy. If you are not a well connected parent you don't really know why or how decisions are made. For a school that prides itself in educating "girls strong in mind, body, and voice" it seems to me that they don't really want to know what these girls and families have to say. I would not recommend this school. Close Quote
