As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote This school allows bullying. A couple of weeks ago, my oldest daughter was bullied by one of the para-educators, and this school did nothing to resolve the issue at hand. In fact, they let the para-educator walk away without any repercussions given her poor behavior.
This person belittled, yelled at, shamed, forcefully yanked the backpack from daughter, talked down to by talking in baby voice, etc....and nothing. I am disgusted. I talked to the principal and she told me my daughter is too sensitive, same with the councilor. I talked with the Executive Director and he told me he refused to take action. I am appalled that they would act in such a manner. Bullying should not be tolerated. However, this school does tolerate.

Last year, for instance. My youngest daughter was being bullied. I received an email from her teacher in telling me that children bully and my daughter needs to learn to accept it. I still have the email.

Disgusting. Close Quote

Open Quote my daughter attends woodside, this is the worst school she has ever attended. the teachers are vindictive and the allow bullying to go on in the school. my daughters teacher has ridiculed her in class in front of all the students which cause them to make fun of her. I have had parents call my cell while I was at work asking me if my daughter is ok. this year my daughter got beat up at school, when we turned it in. the counselor told my child to quit being a victim and the school district would not do anything. when I tried to pull her out, the school said if I removed my child they would have to call CPS on me because I do not care about her education. please before enrolling your child in this school think twice especially if you have a child with any special needs. they don’t follow 504 plans. the principle is a dictator which I have seen a kindergartener running out of the school and she was yelling and cursing at him and then grabbed him by the arm. when I turned this into the Everett school district they said I was exaggerating. we are moving out of Everett School district to get her away from the school. They like the Extra money they get for special need children and do not want to lose that money Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
