As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Very low-performing. Common to see students not held to high standards, and a number of teachers quit this year because of the new principal, reported to tell them all in a meeting to pass students if failure rates too high. Problem is the late policy became up to a week late for a 70 and few took advantage of that. Why not? Why blame teachers when students have a longer time to do work and still pass? Also, several students saw classmates not removed from classes from causing trouble (like last year) and allowed back in after a brief "talk," which did not help them. Discipline is going downhill, and it's gotten worse just this year. My students saw regular cheating, and in a few cases, those cheaters were allowed to redo work for a 70 when the policy is a 0? This sends the wrong message to students like mine that turn in their work on time for full credit yet others wait or even cheat and still get a 70 possibly? Why should I have to encourage my students to keep working hard when the school principal should maintain standards and support the teachers? It saddens me to see this school going the wrong direction fast, and discipline going away. With my students seeing their classmates joking about "not really getting in trouble" anymore, something different must be done before this school becomes a total joke to all. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
