As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote The lack of communication is laughable at best. The administration is horrible. If you have a concern they will give you every excuse under the sun as to why it's not their issue. They make school wide decisions with no notice to parents and it's either put up or shut up. Very clique-ish among the teachers and the administration. Close Quote

Open Quote They claim to "love the kiddos" so much, yet if one of your children is not in the preferred clique, you're sunk. If your child has an inquisitive mind, he/she is not allowed to ask questions to enhance their knowledge (not that the teachers would know the answers necessarily anyway). "Kiddos" (I hate that term are expected to act like stepford children and little robots with "bubbles in their mouths" and hands behind their backs as they walk down a hallway. "Show me five" is another cafeteria robotic show where the bubbles are again inserted in their mouths and hands go up (five fingers) with a moment of silence. If your child has challenges in the classroom, such as behavioral incidents, it's off to the principal's office. They don't take the time to calm the child and give him/her a chance to discuss the issue. Then it's the dreaded and frequent phone call to the parent. Good luck with having a job and dealing with them asking you to come get your child over every little incident. If they do not like your child, they will take the word of another child when there are no adult witnesses instead of giving the benefit of the doubt to both children involved in a fair manner. This school sucks, and you will find that the good teachers and administration leave to move on to better places. MRE is all about show, who you know, and how low can you go! Can't wait till my little "kiddo" is out of that dump. Close Quote

Open Quote I sent my daughter to this school for four years, and we started to notice problems with her reading. We tried to speak with the teachers and administrators about these problems, and they were no help at all. The answer you will get every time is that it is some how not their fault. The community that this school services will tell you that this school district is one of the best in the state. Don't believe it! Do your own research... This school is now an academically unacceptable school rated by the state of Texas. I'm sure the folks at this school will give you another excuse, as its what they're best at. I had my daughter tested by a private tutor and counselor and found that she was reading at a second grade level!!! It took us two years to reverse the damage done to her education at this school. Beware!!! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
